Photographic Monitoring of PARISPARC: The Architectural Project by Bjarke Ingels Group and OXO in Different Lights

As an architectural photographer, I continue to document the progress of the PARISPARC construction site, an ambitious project led by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and OXO Architects. This site represents one of the most innovative projects in terms of sustainable architecture and urban design in Paris, and following its development as a construction photographer is both an opportunity and a challenge.

If you haven’t yet read my first article detailing the architectural challenges of this monumental project, you can find it here: PARISPARC: A Project Designed by BIG Architects and OXO

A Day Under Better Light

On this second day of photographic documentation of the site, the weather was much more favorable than on the first day. With clear skies and abundant natural light, I was able to explore new perspectives of the building, showcasing the architectural structure from different angles. 🌤️

Thanks to the brighter light, the details of the construction site, as well as the lines and volumes envisioned by Bjarke Ingels Group and OXO Architects, are uniquely captured, revealing the evolution of the project over time.

Construction Photography: The Importance of Weather Conditions

While these new photos showcase the building structure under sunnier conditions, I must admit that the photos from the first day, with a gray and rainy sky, perhaps capture the typical Parisian atmosphere even better! 🌧️📸 (Ah, Paris and its unpredictable weather…)

These contrasts in weather conditions highlight the importance, as an architectural and construction photographer, of adapting to changing light to reveal the essence of an architectural project. Each situation presents a unique opportunity to capture the soul of a project.

A Fascinating Evolution to Follow

The evolution of this construction is fascinating to document. Each day brings new surprises and angles to explore, capturing the visual story of PARISPARC, a project that merges architectural innovation with environmental ambitions.
