Viparis, François Schuiten, Nicolas Adam: Real Estate Photography of CNIT Forest 2024
Photographic report at CNIT Forest in Paris La Défense, with Viparis, architect Nicolas Adam and artist François Schuiten, between nature and technology.
Back at CNIT Forest, March 2024
In March 2024, I had the opportunity to carry out a new photographic report at CNIT Forest, an iconic venue located in Paris. This assignment followed on from a first report, this time with a large-scale objective: to capture the essence of all the venue’s spaces, including those often considered less prestigious. With finishing touches having been made to the site since my last visit, this new photographic project made it possible to highlight every facet of CNIT Forest, from the majestic amphitheatres to the functional catering areas, not forgetting the restrooms. These images underline the importance of every space in the organisation of large-scale events, such as trade shows and exhibitions. The challenge was to capture the uniqueness and atmosphere of each venue, in order to offer prospects and clients a complete and authentic vision of CNIT Forest, proving that every detail counts in the success of an event.
Since 2015, Viparis’s spaces at the CNIT had been closed due to the construction of the new Eole station at La Défense. However, Viparis saw this opportunity as the starting point for a remarkable transformation. The result: CNIT Forest, a brand-new venue scheduled to open in September 2023 in Paris La Défense.
Architect Nicolas Adam and visionary artist François Schuiten collaborated to create CNIT Forest, an underground forest of impressive digital trees. These trees, made up of thousands of LEDs, offer an infinite palette of lighting variations, making it possible to personalise each space and create unique experiences for every event.
The ambition of CNIT Forest is to reconcile nature with contemporary technology. This innovative venue relies on the use of natural, noble materials such as wood to create an exceptional harmony between nature and technological progress. Explore this unique fusion through this exclusive photo report.
