Pricing & usage rights
A clear entry price, and above all what no one else on this market publishes: the duration, territory and exact scope of the rights you receive.
- Half-day shoot
- 15 retouched images delivered
- 5-year Europe licence included
An assignment is priced by the number of images delivered and the deadline, never by the hour. Beyond fifteen images, the rate tapers.
What every assignment includes
No hidden optional lines: retouching and licence are inside the quoted price.
What you are actually buying
A photograph is not bought, it is licensed: copyright stays with the photographer, you receive a right of use. Its duration, territory and scope determine what you may do with it — and it is rarely spelled out on this market. Here is mine.
- Five years from delivery
- Territory: Europe
- Website, social media, editorial press
- Institutional material: brochures, competition entries, reports
- Non-exclusive — you are not buying exclusivity, so you are not paying for it
- Paid advertising and sponsored campaigns
- Out-of-home and promotional material
- Distribution outside Europe
- Duration beyond five years, or unlimited
- One extension per additional entity
- Each may use the images in its own name
- The framework is written before the shoot, not after
- Common on construction work, where four parties want the same images
Extensions are calculated on duration, territory and scale of distribution, and appear on the quote. None is ever applied retrospectively.
