A Natural Continuation of My Previous Work

This exhibition continues on from my previous series such as « Mémoire de Paysages » and « (Dé)Constructions ». Using the city as a backdrop, I explore the dialogue between past, present and a potential future, bearing witness to our ongoing interaction with the urban environment. My work aims to push this reflection further, creating a space for contemplation on our place in a changing world.

My Artistic Journey

Originally from the islands of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, my career took a new direction after working as an engineer until 2018. Since then, I have had the privilege of presenting notable solo exhibitions, including « (Dé)Constructions » at Galerie Europia in 2019 and « Mémoire de Paysages » at the Arche Musée et Archives in 2021. My work has been recognised with prestigious awards, including those from the Fondation Louis Vuitton and Unsplash Photographer of the Year in 2017 and 2018.

My most recent exhibition at the Assemblée nationale in December 2023 focused on identity and uprootedness, juxtaposing the landscapes of the Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon archipelago with those of European metropolises. The documentary « Pierre Châtel-Innocenti – Regard de photographe », co-produced by France Télévisions and Merapi Productions, offers an intimate look at my creative process and shows how my origins and experiences shape my work.
