The chapel is located in the French department of Orne, south of the town of Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei. It has been listed as a historical monument since October 22, 1926.

15 kilometers south-west of Alençon, placed in a loop of the Sarthe spanned by a small stone bridge, Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei wraps its old town houses around the Romanesque church from the 11th century to exceptional frescoes.
